St. Lukes - Roosevelt
This mural was created by our patients at The Child and Family Institute under the direction and supervision of senior social worker, Kiva Wilkinson.

The Child and Family Institute at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals is committed to advancing the field of children’s mental health through academic endeavors and clinical research. The Child and Family Institute, along with the Addiction Institute of New York is also a Clinical Treatment Provider (CTP) of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Clinical Trials Network (CTN). This is a network of research groups in partnership with treatment centers where many national, multi-site studies are conducted. Currently, our clinical research program, under the direction of Drs. Michelle Acosta and Deborah Haller, includes research activities in the treatment of adolescent substance abuse, child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, and outcomes research, among other areas.
