St. Lukes - Roosevelt

Pediatric HIV Clinic

The Child and Family Institute at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals collaborates with the Center for Comprehensive Care’s Morningside Clinic to provide a comprehensive program for children and families whose lives have been affected by the HIV epidemic. HIV-positive children, adolescents, and parents are treated in the clinic along with their family members or partners. Care is provided both to children infected with HIV, as well as those affected by HIV (usually as the result of a parent or sibling being infected with HIV). Children with HIV can have complex behavioral and/or neuropsychiatric problems that require thorough diagnosis and treatment.
